Invasive Aedes Response in Pleasanton 

 Invasive Aedes aegypti was first detected on October 9th, 2024 in Pleasanton.

 The ACMAD team will be in the area of Plesanton to check properties and public areas. We ask residents to speak with members of our staff and allow access to your property to inspect for Aedes aegypti.

Invasive mosquitoes can establish in a community quickly and make the outdoors unpleasant. They are aggressive day-biters. The eggs of the mosquito are small and hard to see. But they could be living in your backyard, anywhere there is standing water.
